Centrally located in Grantsville, Maryland, Curtis Chimney Service was started in 1984 by Dale Curtis as a chimney cleaning company. It took very little time to realize that many of our customers had needs that went beyond routine service. Over the years, we have grown into a full service company offering everything from cleaning to major flue restoration and construction, and sales and installation of wood, coal and gas heaters.

We serve a wide area centered in western Maryland and covering the surrounding areas of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, although we have been known to undertake an occasional project in northern Virginia, eastern Maryland, or Pittsburgh! With multiple vehicles on the road on any given day, it is not uncommon for our company to provide service in three states simultaneously.

Today, after over twenty years of service to the tri-state area, Dale Curtis is still at the helm, providing the benefit of his years of training, and expertise gained from years of practical, on-the-job problem solving.

At the end of every job our desire is for our customers to be very satisfied with our work. We have grown throughout the years primarily through word of mouth... satisfied customers telling others. We trust that you will soon join the growing number who have made us their "sweep for life!"
